News:
2010 has been a busy year for our staff and their personal development.

Congratulations to those staff members who have successfully achieved their Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance award. This achievement will further enhance the quality of delivery to our service users.

This Year has seen the introduction of Level 2 Personal Budgeting and Money Management Qualification. Often benefit, finance and debt problems are associated with re-offenders and drug misuse.

The Social Exclusions report (2002) states that

"finance, benefit and debit is one of the seven fundamental issues contributing to re-offending" (in Cfeb, 2010)

All delivery staff have undertaken this qualification and are able to offer personalised financial, benefit and debt advice to service users and offer support on how they can better manage their finances for the future. At Ease we believe passionately about not just the here and now, but about providing people with the life skills that may benefit them for years to come and help them achieve sustainable employment. To this end we are now training all our delivery staff in Accredited Information Advice & Guidance qualification.
